All holders of a federal postgraduate qualification or a recognised foreign postgraduate qualification are obliged to complete their continuing education for as long as they are practising medicine in Switzerland.

Participation in the Geneva Health Forum opens up the possibility of obtaining training credits for doctors practising in Switzerland.

These training credits are issued by the Swiss Public Health Doctors (SPHD), the Swiss Society of Specialists in Prevention and Public Health.

The credits available are as follows:

• Three-day conference: 23 credits
• Two day conference: 16 credits
• One day conference: 8 credits
