Presentation

Our health is inextricably linked with the health of our planet. Currently, we face major health threats including pandemics, climate change, major disruptions of our ecosystems, etc.

To ensure that health professionals are equipped to face these health emergencies, as well as empower them to mitigate these, it is vital that planetary health is at the core of medical education.

During this workshop, we will dive deeper into the concept of planetary health and its relevance, investigate an example of integration into the medical curriculum, present a framework to aid the process and work together in an engaging manner on deciding the next steps. The workshop is aimed to inform and exchange views, so we also want to hear from you. Looking forward to seeing you there!

The objective of this workshop is to develop the participants’ capacity to engage more meaningfully in the inclusion of planetary health in their medical curricula
